Came on a Sunday by chance. Good food and coffee, and a quiet atmosphere. Came back two weeks later. Pancakes were great. Happy find.

Classic old school cafe, we absolutely loved it! Like stepping back in time, in a good way. Huge selection of home cookery style food. Custard squares to die for! Super super delightful spot. Not gonna lie, planning a weekend away around this absolute gem! We talk about it all the time Thanks millions team, we're coming back for those custard squares!

Lovely unassuming little cafe with friendly staff. It's a nice old school cafe. Had the half breakfast for 13.50 and it was plenty. Nice scrambled eggs that were actually proper light fluffy scrambled eggs and not a lazy folded omelette 10/10

We stopped in at Fran's for a late breakfast and ordered coffee, the beef salad and big breakfast. My better half really enjoyed her salad, it had a great selection of ingredients and the beef was delicious. My big breakfast was perfect, and the bacon was absolutely delicious! A lovely touch was the butter and jam selection to go with the toast, which rounded the meal off perfectly. Very reasonably priced food, and a lovely atmosphere both indoors and in the outdoor area out the back. We'll definitely be back again on our next trip to Cambridge.
